Equipment in Chemistry laboratory
	Rotary evaporator The rotary evaporator can be used to remove solvent from the solution mixture. In column chromatography, the solvent has to be removed in order to obtain the desired product.
	Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) Spectrometer Infrared spectroscopy is an instrumental analytical method that can be used to identify particular functional groups in molecules.
	15 Ton Hydraulic KBr Press It is used to prepare solid samples for infrared analysis. First the sample is ground to a fine particle size and then uniformly mixed with dry KBr powder. Finally, the sample mixture is pressed using a hydraulic press to form a KBr pellet.
