This year was the 50th anniversary of Society for Neuroscience.

With the help from students, Dr. Suen and Ms. Cheung can set up the poster easily. They were ready to present at 1:00 pm.

At 5:15pm, the team also attended the Presidential Special Lecture. Its topic was “From Base Pairs to Bedside: Antisense Modulators of RNA Splicing to Treat Neurological Diseases”. This talk was given by Prof. Adrian R. Krainer.

Oct 20, 2019

Teachers and students visited Museum of Science and Industry. There were many interesting exhibitions related to science and industry in this museum.

In the afternoon, the team visited The University of Chicago.

Oct 21, 2019

Our young neuroscientists were ready to present their research findings.

Hsu Tsun Ho, Chairman of Neuroscience Club was talking about the methodology of several experiments.

Dr. Raymond C. C. Chang raised some challenging questions to our students.

Some other scientists were interested in the research findings done by our students.

At 5:15pm, the team attended another important lecture. Its topic was “The Cell Biology of the Synapse and Behavior” given by Prof. Daniel A. Colon-Ramos. There may be over 15,000 neuroscientists attending this Presidential Lecture.

Dr. Chang, his Ph.D. students and our team had a very nice dinner after the Presidential Lecture.

Oct 22, 2019

Our students visited Field Museum in Chicago. In this museum, the students can study specimens of plants and animals and the history of humans and ancient Egypt.

The five young neuroscientists received their Presenter Certificate of attending the 49th Annual Meeting of Society for Neuroscience.
