3D Printing workshop @PolyU Design Education Corner Creative Workshop 2022

Venue: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

To inspire creative minds and the spirit as an arts maker, we have joined the Creative Design Workshop for secondary school students held face-to-face organized by PolyU. Not only did students learn to build 3D models with Tinkercad to design their Christmas trinkets in the workshop, but they also learnt to slice the 3D models into the format for a 3D printer to read, equipping them with useful computer graphic design skills.

Indigo-dye workshop藍染工作坊

Date: 27 November 2022

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Venue: Tai Long Wan Tsuen, Lantau Island

In order to cultivate multiple intelligence, our Visual Arts students joined an indigo-dye workshop on Lantau Island. We have learnt the traditional and natural way of Indigo dyeing, “Ai-zome”. We tied the fabrics into different patterns and applied the solution to cloth and had the cloth aired to repeat oxidation. It was an enjoyable and fun experience.
