International Workshop on the Science and Conservation of Asian Horseshoe Crabs - 24 June 2011
|
Three S7 students took part in the International Workshop on the Science and Conservation of Asian Horseshoe Crabs held in the Hong Kong Wetland Park from 13 – 16 Jun 2011.
In the conference, students met scientists from different parts of the world and attended their workshops. The team has also shared their experience in rearing horseshoe crabs in poster presentation sessions. A field visit to the Lau Fau Shan mudflat was also arranged to understand the local habitat of horseshoe crabs and to review the effectiveness of the wild release done earlier in April by the students.
