Teacher Professional Development of LHT and LFC Science Teachers 

Principal Chan led 4 LHT Science teachers and 4 LFC Science teachers to attend EASE 2013 conference from 4-5 July 13. (2013 International Conference of East-Asian Association for Science Education;

http://new.theease.org/conference2013.php).

This conference was held at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. The theme of the EASE 2013 Conference is “building an international platform for exchange between scientists and science educators”. There were more than 300 participants from 12 different countries/regions and over 60 Hong Kong teachers registered for this conference. Ten distinguished international scholars delivered speeches on their outstanding research findings in science and science education. Among those presentations, there were 187 Oral Presentations, 120 Poster Presentations, 7 Symposia and equal number of workshops as well as 14 Invited and Contribution Exhibitions. We took part in 1 poster presentation and our LFC science teachers took part in 4 poster presentations and 1 symposium. The poster titles of LHT and LFC were shown as below:

It was a fruitful experience in which we shared our research findings and we could develop a clear vision by interacting with other science educators in EASE conference.
