CareerXplorer: Young Innovators Shaping the Future of EdTech

On 5th of July, six S4 students participated in CareerXplorer: Young Innovators Shaping the Future of EdTech organized by JYC girls Impact Foundation.

Through this special chance, our students learned about the daily struggles SEN students encounter, such as difficulty in writing and speaking. They were taught the ways to analyse and solve problems related to education through design thinking, and attempted to make decisions in different situations with emphasis on creativity, empathy, and action.

In addition, our participating students were introduced to the locally developed application "WriteRight", an EdTech tool created by SEN With You. Those who took part in the activity were demonstrated first-hand how technology can serve its purpose in alleviating educational barriers, alongside further understanding the importance of shedding light on predicaments faced by others and giving them a helping hand.
