HKUMed Life-Saving Workshop & Admissions Talk
On 18th September 2026, we were delighted to host the HKUMed Life-Saving Workshop & Admissions Talk in our school. The event brought together members of our Law's Pinnacle Program alongside senior form students for an engaging afternoon of career insight and hands-on medical training.
Insightful Guidance from HKUMed Academics
The session opened with an informative HKUMed Admissions Talk, offering students valuable advice on university admissions and career pathways within healthcare. Following the admissions briefing, Professor Jason Woo from the Department of Emergency Medicine delivered an inspiring talk, sharing his expertise on emergency medicine and the crucial role of emergency response.
Hands-on Life-Saving Workshops
Following the talks, medical students from the LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) guided our students through four practical and interactive workshops, including Anti-Choking Manoeuvres, Drug Poisoning and Substance Abuse Awareness, FAST – Not to Miss a Stroke and CPR and AED Demonstration. Our students had a fantastic experience gaining essential skills and direct exposure to life in the medical field.
